This masterclass will teach the concepts and techniques which underpin the calculation of Social Return on Investment (SROI). The rationale for moving beyond more traditional forms of performance and results-based management of institutional strategies will be overviewed, as well as ways in which financial proxies can be used to monetize wider social returns which organizations seek to produce as outcomes of their work. In the margins of this 3-hour masterclass, participants will simulate around a short case study and, using both forecasted and evaluative techniques, produce monetized outcomes and an overall SROI.
